Currently all off road, unlicensed vehicles are prohibited within the town of Silverton.  However, there are rental companies in town who will rent you a vehicle and aid you in getting to a legal area to stage and begin riding.  There are countless backcountry trails to ride on the doorstep of Silverton.  It is truly an offroader's mecca!
